Randy
has been in the sand and gravel business for
over thirty years. After marrying his wife Edie
Strain Fenimore, an avid rein cow horse and
cutting horse breeder and rider, he became
involved in the horse industry in the late
1980s. With the unexpected passing of his wife
in 1995 he redirected his focus on his two
daughters and their horse operation.
In the past thirteen years,
Randy has accomplished numerous titles in the
Northwest as well as a NCHA Western National
Championship.

His oldest daughter, Kerri is a past
NCHA Western National Championship Youth Reserve
Champion, the 2001 NCHA Todd Drummond Award recipient,
and the recipient of numerous NWCHA and PCCHA youth
scholarships.
His youngest daughter, Laura,
is the most accomplished rider in the family.
Most recently, she won the 2010 NCHA Amateur
Futurity riding Misplaced Cat, a mare by WR This
Cats Smart out of a mare that she won the
$10,000 Novice Non Pro Championship. She has received numerous scholarships from the NWCHA, PCCHA, and NCHA youth, qualified for the
NCHA Western National Championship in numerous
classes for the past nine years. She has also
won the 2005 NCHA
$10,000 Novice Non Pro World Champion, and the
2007 OHSRA Cutting Championship.
